Hello! My name is Shanea Seals. I earned my B.A from Alabama A&M University, a HBCU. I am the wife of (Melvin Seals Jr), and I am honored to be the mother of the amazing Ena, Melvin III, and Mya Seals. They are the gift that keeps on giving.

I truly believe in meeting students where they are and building them up from there. I have found when done effectively, even students are amazed at how they exceed even their own expectations.

I have countless experience in teaching and tutoring, from preschool, to first grade, to middle school, to high school, and even mentorship. I have helped students navigate through what seemed to be the most difficult of circumstances, being transparent all the way.  I believe in all our getting, let's get an understanding. And of course “clarity is our friend”!

I have been working in WCCUSD for 3 years. Now, I am excited about the opportunity to become a part of the Tiger family. I’m looking forward to a prosperous future. Let's make a difference!

If you happen to see me outside of school, I might be traveling with family and friends, at the water, or scenic sights, or enjoying a great meal at a new restaurant. I love to try new things.
