Greetings! 

My name is Faith Mazurczyk and I am ecstatic to be a teacher at Vista K-12 Virtual Academy! I have always loved working with students, but absolutely fell in love with virtual teaching as a Kindergarten teacher during the 2020 Coronavirus pandemic because it challenged me to think outside of the box to make learning even more fun. My biggest passion in education is teaching students how to read. I live for the “aha” moments when students finally reach their goals. 

I earned my Masters in Teaching and CA Multiple Subject Teaching credential from Biola University. I have taught grades K, 1, 4, 5-8 but have a love and passion for little learners. My favorite grade to teach is first grade and I am excited for the opportunity to teach first graders again! 

Outside of teaching, my husband and I just welcomed our first child in May! When I am not chasing my little one, I enjoy reading, writing, art, and baking!
