Overview

  • The Governing Board desires to provide transfer options that meet the diverse needs and interests of district students. Transfer applications may be obtained through our Informed K12 platform. Transfer Office hours during the Intra-District Transfer (Open Enrollment Transfer), Period: Monday through Friday from 9 am to 4 pm. 

    If you wish for your child to be considered for a transfer to a school that is not your resident school according to your address, please read the guidelines stated below and complete the 2024-2025 (coming soon) Intra District Transfer Application. 

    A current utility bill is needed to submit a completed transfer application. Acceptable forms of address verification are as follow:     PG&E, water, or garbage statements.
    *U    tility bills must be under the parent/guardian’s name and cannot be older than 45 days.*

Intra-District Transfer (Open Enrollment)/Enrollment Selection Process

  • Open Transfer/Enrollment
    Intra-District transfers (open enrollment) are subject to space availability at the requested school. WCCUSD anticipates that not all schools will have space for transfers. All requests will be considered in an unbiased random selection process according to priority to determine which pupils will be approved for transfers.

Transfer requests will be considered according to the following priorities [bp 5116.1]:

  • 2. Parent Employment Transfers

  • 3. Comprehensive Support and Improvement Transfers

  • 4. Program Transfers

  • 5. Special Circumstances Transfers (Not related to Safety)

  • 6. Parent Preference Transfers

  • 7. Safety Transfer
