Library Services
Library Services are members of the Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment department. Staffing includes:

Elementary Schools - Classified Library Media Specialists provide weekly library services at each elementary school. The work includes book recommendations and circulation, teaching library skills, coordinating volunteers and maintaining inventories.

Secondary Schools - Full time, credentialed Teacher Librarians work at each of our traditional secondary schools. They are trained to teach research skills as well as collaborate with teachers to deliver standards-based lessons. They work collaboratively with classified Instructional Media Technicians who maintain inventories and provide services to students and teachers.

District Library Office - Central district Library Services staff supports numerous departments in the selection, purchase, and use of instructional materials. Library Services maintains the Destiny database, which is used for circulation and inventory of all WCCUSD instructional materials.
