Calling All West Contra Costa Unified School District Families

West Contra Costa Unified School District students and families received a special phone call Sunday night welcoming them to the 2018-19 school year.

Atlant Falcons star defensive linemen and 2013 Kennedy High School graduate, Takkarist McKinley welcomed families back with a 30 second message, telling students that his season starts September 6, but their season starts August 20 and that "My education in WCCUSD helped me achieve my dreams. Now it's your turn to achieve your dreams."
