Kennedy High School Students, Fab Lab Recreate History

As part of the 50th Anniversary of the Apollo 11 landing, Kennedy High School students and the Fab Lab made pieces of the Apollo 11 door.

Adam Savage, the former Myth Buster's co-host,  recruited teams from across the country to help him recreate the hatch by making pieces of the Apollo 11 command module hatch.

Kennedy students participated in Project Egress and created pieces of the door in the Fab Lab. The pieces were sent to Washington D.C. where Adam Savage recreated the hatch at the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum.
