Machine & Material Fees

Most, if not all, of the design work can be done in our computer lab prior to using any of the machines.
 
The computer lab is open for anyone to use free of charge.
 
In order to provide use for everyone in the Fab Lab, we have the following policies.
 
Laser Cutter Machine Use  
 
Laser Cutter Machine Rates
  • Class Project = Free
  • First 30 minutes = Free
  • Reserve 30 minutes at a time
  • 2 hour maximum
  • Personal Project, $10 per 30 minutes
 
Material  Size        Cost*  Minimum Purchase
Acrylic: 12" x 24", 1/8" thick  $20 per sheet  Minimum of 1 sheet
Acrylic: 12" x 24", 1/4" thick  $30 per sheet  Minimum of 1 sheet
Wood: 12" x 24", 1/8" thick  $10 per sheet  Minimum of 1 sheet
Cardboard:  12" x 24", 1/8" thick  $1 per sheet  Minimum of 10 sheets

Materials in scrap boxes are free of charge.

3D Printer Machine Rates
  • Class Project = Free
  • 1st Print = Free* (under 2 hours)
  • 1 Hour Print = Free
  • 2 Hour Print = $5
  • 3 Hour Print = $10
  • 4 Hour Print = $20
