Good afternoon Ellerhorst Families,

We want to update you about the power outage at Ellerhorst this morning.  School will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday, October 26, 2021 to allow us time to investigate the cause of the intermittent power interruptions.   

We distributed laptop computers and hotspots to families today. If you need a laptop or hotspot for your student to complete their coursework this week, please let your teacher know.

If the power is shut off for a longer period of time, we will notify you as soon as possible. 

We know the loss of power is a disruption, and the safety of students and staff is our highest priority. Thank you for your patience and understanding,

Queremos informarles sobre la interrupción del servicio de electricidad en la Escuela Ellerhorst esta mañana. La escuela estará cerrada mañana, martes 26 de octubre de 2021 para darnos tiempo de investigar la causa de las interrupciones intermitentes de electricidad.

Hoy distribuimos computadoras portátiles y puntos de acceso a Internet para las familias. Si necesita una computadora portátil o un punto de acceso para que su estudiante complete su trabajo escolar esta semana, por favor comuníqueselo a su maestro/a.

Si se interrumpe el servicio de electricidad durante un período de tiempo más prolongado, se lo notificaremos lo antes posible.

We want to inform you about a power outage at Lake this morning.  School is closed today as a safety precaution until the power is restored and filters are able to circulate the air indoors. 

If the power is shut off for a longer period of time, we will notify you as soon as possible.

Students will not be marked absent due to the outage. School will be in session tomorrow and run a regular school day.

We know the loss of power is a disruption, and the safety of students and staff is our highest priority. Thank you for your patience and understanding,

Queremos informarles acerca del apagón en la escuela Lake esta mañana.  La escuela estará cerrada hoy por precaución de seguridad hasta que la energía sea restablecida y los filtros puedan circular el aire adentro.

Los alumnos no serán marcados ausentes debido al apagón.  La escuela estará en sesión mañana y se tendrá un día regular de escuela.

Si se interrumpe el servicio de electricidad por un período de tiempo más largo, le notificaremos lo antes posible.

A los estudiantes no se les pondrá falta o ausencia el día de hoy debido a la interrupción. La escuela estará en sesión el lunes y tendremos un día escolar regular.

We want to inform you about power outages that have closed some schools in the district this morning.  School is closed today as a safety precaution until the power is restored. 

Power is out at the following schools::

• Fairmont
• Montalvin 
• Highland

We are in contact with PG&E. If the power is shut off for a longer period of time, we will notify you as soon as possible.

Students will not be marked absent due to the outage. School will be in session tomorrow and run a regular school day.

The power has been restored at Lincoln Elementary School and Greenwood Academy. Students and staff can remain in school today.

The following schools will close today at 10am for early dismissal: Dover Elementary School, Grant Elementary School, King Elementary School.

We have been monitoring the progress to restore power to schools, and due to the widespread outages, PG&E is not able to confirm restoration times. Therefore, in an abundance of caution and concern for safety, the Superintendent has determined to close the following schools today at 10am for early dismissal: Coronado Elementary School, Dover Elementary School, Grant Elementary School, King Elementary School, Lincoln Elementary School, and Greenwood Academy.
