WCCUSD's 2019 Summer School Ends Friday, July 12

Summer school students at King Elementary read their skits to classmates The West Contra Costa Unified School District is serving just over 2,100 summer school students at eight schools this summer, including Dover, Ford and King Elementary Schools, Dejean and Helms Middle Schools, and at De Anza, Kennedy, and Richmond High Schools.

Students began classes on Monday, June 17 and end on Friday, July 12.

The elementary and middle school programs focused on literacy, math, and science skills and helping students learn that individuals and communities can grow and change.

The high school programs focused on credit recovery so students remain on track for high school graduation. The Extended Learning Graduation is Thursday, July 11 at 6 p.m. at the Richmond Memorial Auditorium.
