    Welcome to CaPROMISE 
     
    The California Promise Initiative (CaPROMISE) represents the opportunity for multiple organizations, working in partnership, to provide a coordinated set of services and supports to child SSI recipients ages 14-16 and their families designed to increase economic self-sufficiency.
     
     
    CaPromise Participant
     
    California youth between the ages 14-16 receiving Supplemental Security Income (SSI) benefits and their family members. To find out if you are eligible to participate, please contact our CaPROMISE staff.

    The California Department of Rehabilitation (CDOR) in partnership with several other State Departments, 27 local educational agencies (LEAs) and San Diego State University's Interwork Institute (SDSU-II) is pleased to propose one such alternate system of support.
