ParentLink Message in English (4/18/22)

Good evening, Lincoln families. This is Mrs. Parham with a message on behalf of the Lincoln team.

This message contains 3 pieces of 豆奶成人直播.

First, this Thursday, April 21st, we will have Open House in person at Lincoln from 4:30 - 6 p.m. Thursday is a minimum day, and students leave at 1 p.m. that day. We would like to welcome our Lincoln Parents and Guardians to come to Lincoln to see your child's work in their classroom, and meet with their teacher. Please note that in order to come onto our campus, all eligible people must show proof of vaccination or proof of a negative covid test within 72 hours. Also, while masks are no longer required, we do strongly encourage anyone on our campus to wear a mask the entire event. If you have questions about Open House, please reach out to us. We look forward to seeing you this Thursday at 4:30 p.m.

Second, please note that, as I shared last week in my Monday Message, masks are no longer required for students and staff across our district. They are, however, strongly recommended. We will continue to hand out masks to students every morning at arrival, and we hope that students choose to wear them as much as possible, because they are one of the best ways to keep our community safe.

Lastly, please note that today kicks off our testing season at Lincoln. Our testing window for the statewide assessments is Monday, April 18th until Friday, May 20th. Here at Lincoln, students in the 3rd - 6th grades, are required to take the SBAC assessments for ELA and Math. Our 5th graders are also required to take an additional CAST science test, and our 3rd and 4th grade DLI classes are required to take a CSA Spanish assessment. We ask that all guardians ensure your child eats breakfast every day of testing. Also, they need to get plenty of sleep at night, and make sure they charge their tablet at home every single night. Thank you for helping our students be as successful as possible with testing!

That's all I have for now. Have a restful evening, and Go Lions!
